ARCH does host events and field trips, but as you can see we are more about meeting the needs of the parents, with teaching efforts and the curriculum fair as examples.   If you are looking for close to home social activities for your children, please see our resource page for local support groups.  If your group is not listed, please have your group leader contact us with permission to list that group.

Congratulations!

As Chairman of the scholarship committee for the Msgr. James Golasinski Scholarship sponsored by ARCH, I am pleased to announce the recipient for this $500 scholarship. She is Miss Rebecca LaBriola , who graduated from high school as a homeschooled student this past May 2010. She is the daughter of Mr and Mrs. John LaBriola and is the sister of Lauren and Maddie.

Elections!

Election Time for 2010-2011 ARCH Board

The nominations for ARCH board members have verified and the ballot is complete. All current member eligible for placing a vote were mailed a post card in June announcing the election. (If you didn't receive a card your membership has expired.) Voting will close the last of July. The new board will be announced the first week of August, 2010. Please take a few minutes and if you are a member approve the ballot that was mailed out on the Yahoo list.

The current ARCH board has been pleased and honored to serve our Catholic Homeschooling community and are looking forward to what the future will bring to our group.

This event was one of the favorite events of last year... You know the morning after an event and people are saying to you, "You should have been there it was great!"? Well, here is your second chance! We look forward to all returning guests as well. This event is sponsored by ARCH, however all Catholic homeschooling moms are invited regardless of membership status.

Mark your calendars now for the Back to School Mass to be held Sept 11th Saturday evening Mass at Annunciation Catholic Church.   Msgr James Golasinski will offer the mass.   After please join us for a picnic at a nearby park.   The board is putting together activities and games for the picnic, so we hope to see you on Sept 11th!
